Abstract: PURPOSE: A structure for preventing the whistle noise of a vent door of an air duct is provided to prevent whistle noise generated by the vibration of a rubber lip of the vent door by stabilizing flow inside the duct and cutting off a noise source by securing an adaptive passage for a sectional flow with forming a plurality of cut away pieces of which the intervals are shorter than the wavelength of turbulence passing through the upper and lower sides of the rubber lip. CONSTITUTION: A structure for preventing the whistle noise of a vent door of an air duct comprises the upper and lower sides of a rubber lip installed to a rim of the vent door and formed into a plurality of cut away pieces(L1,L2) with being cut off at regular intervals. The width of the cut away pieces is shorter than the wavelength of turbulence passing through the vent door.
