    Abstract: PURPOSE: A tool shank automatic cleaning device and a machining center including the same are provided to detect a rotational path of a tool holder by using a sensing unit and to automatically clean a shank unit of the tool holder when an abnormal path is generated. CONSTITUTION: A tool shank automatic cleaning device (100) for a machining center comprises a sensing unit (10) and a clamping unit (30). The sensing unit is mounted on one side of a housing and senses a rotational path of a tool holder (3). The clamping unit is mounted on the other side of the housing and the tool holder is selectively clamped. A spindle assembly (1) is separated from the clamped tool holder in the clamping unit. The tool shank automatic cleaning device cleans the shank unit of the tool holder with the cleaning water sprayed from the spindle assembly.
