Abstract: PURPOSE: A centering device for a fixing panel for a press process is provided to stably mount a work-piece by adjusting a feeding speed of a work-piece prior to the mounting of a work-piece to the centering device. CONSTITUTION: A centering device for a fixing panel for a press process comprises plural pairs of work-piece detecting photo sensors(14), a plurality of electromagnets(32), an electromagnet up-and-down device(30), and a controller. The work-piece detecting photo sensors are installed in an idle conveyor(12) of an idling device(10), and detect the feeding speed of the work-piece. An idling device waits a work-piece until putting in it into the centering device. A plurality of electromagnets are arranged on the bottom surface of a skid plate(22) of the centering device. The electromagnet up-and-down device ascends and descends the electromagnets. The controller controls the drive of the electromagnet up-and-down device by receiving a signal from the work-piece detecting photo sensors.
