Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and a method for recognizing vehicle information using a QR code. In particular, the present invention enables recognition of vehicle information using a QR code (100) embossed on a vehicle (1), and also comprises a first step (S10) of embossing the QR code (100) for recognition of vehicle information on the vehicle (1) by using a laser; and a second step (S20) of recognizing the vehicle information through a code reader (200) interworking with the QR code (100) embossed in the first step (S10). Therefore, the present invention can save the replacement costs of an information storage medium to provide cost reduction effects, and can improve marketability by using a laser-embossed QR code rather than an adhesion type QR code to allow the vehicle information recognition after a painting process.
