Abstract: PURPOSE: A poisoning detection system and method for an exhaust purifier is provided to superlatively maintain the function of a catalyst without extra manipulations, thereby reducing the amount of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A poisoning detection system for an exhaust purifier includes a temperature sensor(100) and a controller(200). The temperature sensor is placed at a distribution line for exhaust gas. The temperature sensor is equipped with a catalytic substance. Exothermic reaction is generated between contaminants in the exhaust gas and the catalytic substance. The controller stores a reference temperature value for the temperature sensor. The controller raises the temperature of the exhaust gas by controlling ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(300) when the temperature value of the temperature sensor is dropped as much as a certain level. The controller determines the heat deterioration of the catalytic substance when the value of the measured temperature of the exhaust gas, which is raised by the controller, does not reach the reference temperature value, and then updates the reference temperature value into the value of the measured temperature. The controller transmits a warning signal when a period for temperature raising requirement through the ECU become shorter. Abstract: A method for testing an exhaust gas treatment apparatus for diesel engine is provided to improve CPF(Catalyzed Particulate Filter) quality and obtain more accurate result of resistance test by using an assembly of previously abraded DPF and DOC as CPF test piece. A method for testing an exhaust gas treatment apparatus for diesel engine is as follows. An exhaust ventilator is mounted on a DOC(Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) installation position of a DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter) to form a DPF test piece(S101). The DPF test piece is mounted on the exhaust pipe of the engine, and the DPF is abraded based on DPF abrasion condition(S103). The exhaust ventilator is removed from the DPF test piece and replaced with a degraded DOC to form a CPF test piece(S105). The CPF test piece is mounted on the exhaust pipe of the engine, and the CPF test piece is measured and evaluated while driving the engine(S107).
