Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for providing an oscillation damper in a place, where it suffers a thermally heavy load such as in a combustion chamber by allowing a controller to influence the rotating speed and movement of a perforated plate according to pressure oscillations that depend on the load in the combustion chamber. SOLUTION: This device attenuates thermoacoustic oscillations generated, when a fuel 2 flowing into a combustion chamber 17 is burnt. A perforated plate 3, having an eccentric opening 4 through which the fuel 2 flows and rotating coaxially with a fuel conduit 1, is disposed in the fuel conduit 1 communicating with a burner 12, such that it is vertically movable with respect to the rotating axis. Rotating means 10 and moving means 11 for the perforated plate 3 are connected to means for measuring the amplitude and frequency of pressure oscillations in the combustion chamber 17 via a controller 18, which influences the rotating speed and movement of the perforated plate 3 corresponding to the pressure oscillations, which depend on the load in the combustion chamber 17.

As a result of this, a pilot gas 16 is fed into an inside burner chamber 10, separately from fuel 11 and a blower air 12.

Between the premixing zone 7 and a combustion zone 11, the transition is characterized by a jump 12 in cross-section which induces initial cross-section of flow of the combustion zone 11.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce and attenuate the thermoacoustic pressure vibration by connecting the output terminal of a controller to means for electrically controlling the flame in a combustion chamber. SOLUTION: Fuel is supplied via a fuel conduit 5 and combustion air is suppled via an air intake port 4 to a burner 3, and the thermoacoustic pressure vibration generated by the irregular combustion of a flame 16 is detected by a pressure sensor 6 provided in a combustion chamber 1. A voltage source 11 and an electrode 14 are connected to the sensor 6 via a controller 10, and the electrode 14 is conductively connected to a thermal insulating shield 12 which is insulation-installed. Thus, the thermoacoustic vibration pressure relative to the load generated by the combustion of the flame 16 can be controlled to as to be lowered and attenuated.

CONSTITUTION: A fuel lance for use in a combustion chamber defined by the casing of a gas turbine includes a liquid fuel pipe 7 surrounded by an elongated lance outer shell 11 and secured to the easing by a holding arm projecting sideways, a gas pipe 9 forming a gas passage around the liquid fuel pipe 7, and the lance outer shell 11 forming an air passage 10 around the gas pipe 9. An air/fuel nozzle 12 is provided on the side at the downstream end part of the fuel lance, a gas pipe 9 is provided with a gas nozzle 15 for ejecting gas from a gas passage 8 together with air, and the liquid fuel pipe 7 is provided with a liquid fuel nozzle 18 for ejecting liquid fuel through the air passage 10 and the air/fuel nozzle 12.
