A method for assembling items using a manipulator (3) has the items supplied on two or more trays (2) stacked over each other and with swivel mountings at one corner to independently swing each tray between an access position and a storage position. The manipulator. Each tray has the items in one or two layers. The manipulator head is provided with an illuminator (5) and a camera (6) as well as a control unit which identifies the position and shape of the items and controls the pick up system. The relative shallow depth of items in each tray ensures even illumination and rapid identification of the items.

Assembly method for component modules uses manipulator. From component (100), brought out of storage unit onto detection field (3) of assembly panel (2), its position on detection field is precisely determined and transmitted to control of manipulator. Then component is picked-up by gripper of manipulator and inserted into manufactured module. Preferably precise position of each component on detection field is optically detected by camera and converted into control coordinates transmitted to control of manipulator. The invention relates to a system and to a corresponding method for communicating between remote objects provided by service providers ( 10 ). The methods thereof are accessible as web services ( 5 ) and client-sided local proxies (proxies 3 ) in a computer network ( 9 ), in particular Internet or LAN. A general service ( 8 ) is installed in addition to existing services (web services 5 ) on the side of the service provider ( 10 ), said general service being used to connect one or several client ( 1 ) service requests to the available services ( 5 ), and to transmit one or several answer messages to the clients ( 1 ). An optimisation layer ( 6 ) is implemented on the client side in addition to the other local proxies (proxies 3 ), said optimisation layer being configured in order to carry out client-sided optimisation and to combine groups of requests. The invention relates to a system as well as a procedure for the re-engineering of object components, in particular component object models (COM), for the generating of web service wrappers. An interaction layer (10), an application layer (20) and a data persistence layer (30) with various functional units (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26) and/or a data component (31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36) are provided, which interact in such a way that a determination respectively a selection of an object model component (31), especially a COM component, chosen for re-engineering is possible. The object model of a pre-determined object model component (31), especially a COM component, is analyzed and then mapped onto a representative XML document (32). The XML document (32) is validated by pre-determined XML interface schemas. An automated generating of web service wrappers (35) is performed by means of the generated XML document (32) and with the facultative usage of code templates (34).
