    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for a film capacitor or the other capacitive components. SOLUTION: When a capacitor is charged in operation, such a strong electric field that may cause an electrical breakdown can be generated at the end of a conductor 2. Basically, in this invention, an end region film layer is formed at the end of a conductive layer forming an electrode, and the film layer is partly charged during the time intervals determined by the change of an applied voltage, for example, in AC current intervals, the film layer has a feature that it is only partly charged. Therefore, the end region film layer must have a smaller surface conductivity than the surface conductivity of the conductive layer. That the end region film layer is only partly charged means that there is almost no discontinuity in voltage distribution, which enables to avoid a large uprise in field strength.
