    Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-use control system (100) for a switchgear module (10), which comprises a first pivoting element (110) being connectable to an operating element (160), a second pivoting element (120) that is connectable to a switchgear module (10) being switchable between the plurality of modes of operation, at least one coupling element (131, 132) configured to connect the first and second pivoting elements (120) and an interlocking element (200) configured to secure the switchgear module to or release the switchgear module from a compartment.
