PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the conventional switching arrangement for the high voltage so as to attain slight interference susceptibility and high reliability. SOLUTION: The particle trap (1) is arranged vertically on the lower side of a switching gap (4) at least one installation position. A separator (8) substantially horizontally arranged further having a surface (8a) facing inside the switching arrangement for high voltage is provided at this at least one installation position, a metallic wall (9) taller than this particle trap (1) is provided between this separator (8) and the particle trap (1). Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact current transformer for the gas-insulated switch gear. SOLUTION: The current transformer (1') has a mounting flange (12, 12') detachable relating to an installation opening (3c) of a core supporter (11) for an integrated current transformer core (2). The mounting flange is detachable as the two pieces divided type fastening flange (12) or as the integrated rotational flange (12') insertably mounted in the installation opening (3c), and is constituted in a manner of diametrically expanding a mounting space for the integrated current transformer core (2), reducing the diameter (d) of the integrated current transformer core (2), and contracting the mounting area of a current transformer casing (11a). The current converter has an axial force receiving attachment contour (11d) on a filling opening whose external diameter (K 2) is smaller than an external diameter (D) of a mounting flange (5) of a core supporting tube (11) and an attachment arrangement (12) that can be attached to the attachment contour is used for fitting the core supporting tube near the filling opening. An independent claim is also included for an electrical switching system, especially a high or medium voltage system.

The particle trap is arranged underneath the switching path in the at least one installation position. The particle trap contains a viewing window (3). An independent claim is also included for a method of separating impurity particles in an inventive device.
