Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain an anhydrous liquid oil base suspension comprising a medicine, an oil and a suspending agent, enabling to use a medicine not being used in a liquid state because of being unstable or insoluble in water as a liquid form, and used for releasing the medicine. CONSTITUTION: This anhydrous liquid oil base suspension comprises (A) a medicine, e.g. dipotassium clorazepate (a minor tranquilizer useful for treating anxiety, etc.) preferably in an effective amount, (B) an oil preferably in an amount of approximately 30-75% w/v, and (C) a suspending agent preferably in an amount of approximately 0.05-5% w/v as essential components. The liquid suspension preferably further contains (D) a drying agent, (E) one or more kinds of sugars for improving the taste of the suspension, (F) salt, (G) a flavor, (H) a buffering agent, (I) a surfactant and (J) an antiseptic agent. The liquid suspension enables to use the medicine A not being used in a liquid state as a liquid form, and improves the unpleasant taste, etc., of the oil base system.
