Abstract: A chemiluminescent signal amplification method in which the desired reaction signal is amplified by use of a probe reagent which contains an enhancer compound such as a hapten and by the use of a conjugate which contains a chemiluminescent signal generating compound. Kits for performing such an amplified chemiluminescent assay are also provided.
