Abstract: The present invention discloses a process for removing undesired particles (35) from a gas stream (36) including the steps of injecting (10) by the use of nozzles (37) a composition containing an adhesive (40) into contact with the gas stream (36); collecting the undesired particles (35) and adhesive (40) on a collection surface (28) to form an agglomerate (44); and removing the agglomerate (44) from the collection surface (28).
