The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lubricant composition which exhibits good solubility in base oil, good oxidation stability, and good friction reducing effects. To achieve the above purpose, the present invention provides a lubricant composition which includes a dinuclear molybdenum compound (A) and a trinuclear molybdenum compound (B) in a range in which the mass ratio of these compounds is represented by molybdenum in the dinuclear molybdenum compound (A): molybdenum in the trinuclear molybdenum compound (B)=99.98:0.02 to 95:5.

The purpose of the invention is: to provide a lubrication additive composition for a lubricating composition that is intended to suppress corrosion of machinery and further improve the friction-reducing effect relative to conventional lubricating compositions; and to provide a lubricating composition containing said composition. In order to achieve this purpose, the present invention provides: a lubrication additive composition containing an organic molybdenum compound represented by general formula (1) in the specification as component (A) and an amine compound represented by general formula (2) in the specification as component (B), the lubrication additive composition containing 1-20 parts by mass of component (B) per 100 parts by mass of molybdenum atoms in component (A); and a lubricating composition including the same.
