Abstract: Provided is a lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine, including: an organic molybdenum compound as a component (A); a base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 25 mm 2 /s or more as a component (B) ; and a base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of less than 12.5 mm 2 /s as a component (C), in which the composition has a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of 5 mm 2 /s to 12.5 mm 2 /s and a phosphorus content of 800 ppm or less.
