    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate which has a low viscosity to allow coating at room temperature in sticking the protection film to the polarizer and in which a polarizer and a protection film are stuck together using a photocurable adhesive which does not dissolve the protection film.SOLUTION: There is provided an adhesive in which weight reduction in a protection film is 0 to 30 wt.% when the protection film is immersed at 23°C for 2 days and which contains 1 to 10 pts.wt. of a photocationic polymerization initiator based on 100 pts.wt. of a photocationic curable component. The curable component contains the following components: 30 to 85 wt.% of an alicyclic diepoxy compound, 1 to 69 wt.% of a diglycidyl compound, and 1 to 69 wt.% of a monofunctional epoxy compound.
