    Abstract: PURPOSE: To clearly and continuously look at the needle tip by reciprocating the needle tip of a biopsy needle having a tip end part pointed hollow enveloping tube by motion positionally detectable by an ultrasonic wave image system to generate an image whose operation is depicted in a position. CONSTITUTION: A biopsy needle is inserted into tissue 30, and is turned to a part 31, and also into a visual field of a scan head 10. When the needle comes in its visual field, motion of a tip vibrating member 42 of an enveloping tube 40 generates a Doppler response by an image system. Its Dappler response is positionally shown in an ultrasonic wave image of a structure by becoming a spot or a dot of a color. The spot or the dot of a color shows a position of motion of the member 42 by the tip of the enveloping tube, and when the biopsy needle turns to the part 31, its spot approaches the part 31 in an image display. When the spot of a color coincides with the part 31 in an image, the enveloping tube 40 exists in a proper position to perform biopsy of the part.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To enable to prevent reduction of a frequency depending on the depth of a measurement object by utilizing all information components existing in the band of echo signals in measurement of a fluid flow by pulse Doppler signal transmission. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic pulse is generated from an operation head 10 in a fan shaped area 26 of a patient and an echo returning to the sample volume of the patient is made into a numeric by a receiver 14 to be an independent echo sample. The echo signal made into a numeric is properly delayed by a beam former 16 and weighted, then is stored in one longitudinal array of a two-dimensions array store 22. Products of samples neighboring each other in each longitudinal direction of the array are calculated by a row autocorrelation device 34 to obtain a secondary autocorrelation function and the speed of the sample volume is estimated by a speed processing device 36 based on the output of those correlation devices 32, 34 to be utilized in image processing.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize transmission of highly focused ultrasonic beam by detecting an acoustic wave from a guide point where a coated microbubble which is made of suspension of contrasting agents and is having injected in a human body is distrusted by an ultrasonic pulse, processing the wave and compensating difference of ultrasonic velocity in the body of a patient which the wave passes through different body organs. SOLUTION: Suspension of contrastagent is injected in a human body, toward which an ultrasonic beam is beamed from an ultrasonic probe 10. The first pulse destroys coated microbubbles, then the second is transmitted comparably soon. The second sequence of echo signal is subtracted from the signal of first sequence in spatial standard by an inter-pulse differential sub-system 24. The result of substation is compared with the value of threshold given by a threshold circuit 26. The subtle variation of echo between the sequences received from tissues and liquids are dissolved, and only the signals generated from the destruction of microbubbles are left.
