Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the melting and solidifying technique for a metallic material which can produce a desired material by effectively utilizing the micrograviation field of high quality and rapidly heating the metallic material in an extremely short period of time to a molten state and rapidly cooling the metallic material to a solidified state. CONSTITUTION:A sample container 3 housing a sample 2 is mounted movably downward within a quartz pipe 5 installed in a capsule. The sample 2 is preheated near to its m.p. with an external heater 8 just before the fall of the capsule. A power source of the internal heater 4 is turned on simultaneously with the start of the fall to maintain the sample 2 in the molten state for the specified period of time; thereafter, the heater power source is turned off, thereby, the cooling and solidifying of the melt are executed. The sample system is moved to the lower part of the quartz pipe 5 by the force acted on a weight 3 by the overgravity just before the landing of the capsule. The sample system is smoothly moved to the lower part by blank wires 6, 7 having a spring shape at this time. A refrigerant cylinder 10 is simultaneously actuated by the force acted on a weight 11 by the overgravity to inject the refrigerant 9 to the moved sample system, thereby, the rapid cooling is executed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure the concn. of the antigen in a specimen with high accuracy by measuring the size of the grain size of the agglutinated matter generated by the conjugation of antibody sensitized polymerized liposome or antibody sensitized polymerized micell and the antigen in the specimen. CONSTITUTION:The antibody sensitized polymerized liposome or antibody sensitized polymerized micell subjected to antibody conjugation is formed by polymerizing the liposome or micell formed of 1 or >=2 kinds of polymerizable compds. among polymerizable surfactants and polymerizable lipids and the antibody chemically modified by one molecular chain or both molecular chains of polymerizable-non-polymerizable molecular chains. The specimen contg. the antigen is then added to a liquid dispersion contg. the antibody sensitized polymerized liposome or antibody sensitized polymerized micell to induce an agglutination reaction by an antigen-antibody reaction. The size of the agglutinated matter formed in such a manner is measured by a light scattering measuring instrument. The concn. of the antigen in the specimen is measured from the size of the grain size of the agglutinated matter.
