Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure the concn. of the antigen in a specimen with high accuracy by measuring the size of the grain size of the agglutinated matter generated by the conjugation of antibody sensitized polymerized liposome or antibody sensitized polymerized micell and the antigen in the specimen. CONSTITUTION:The antibody sensitized polymerized liposome or antibody sensitized polymerized micell subjected to antibody conjugation is formed by polymerizing the liposome or micell formed of 1 or >=2 kinds of polymerizable compds. among polymerizable surfactants and polymerizable lipids and the antibody chemically modified by one molecular chain or both molecular chains of polymerizable-non-polymerizable molecular chains. The specimen contg. the antigen is then added to a liquid dispersion contg. the antibody sensitized polymerized liposome or antibody sensitized polymerized micell to induce an agglutination reaction by an antigen-antibody reaction. The size of the agglutinated matter formed in such a manner is measured by a light scattering measuring instrument. The concn. of the antigen in the specimen is measured from the size of the grain size of the agglutinated matter.
