    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of removing hydrogen chloride in an incinerator and controlling the evolution of a hydrogen chloride gas in incineration together with a waste containing plastic waste, etc., by compounding a synthetic resin with a specific compound. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 99-50 pts.wt. of a synthetic resin and (B) 1-50 pts.wt. of hydroxysodalites [Na8Al6Si6O24(OH)2]. For example, a thermoplastic resin such as a polyethylene, a propylene, etc., may be cited as the component A. The component B can be obtained, for example, by mixing kaolin with sodium carbonate in equal amounts, calcining the mixture at 700 deg.C for 1 hour, kneading the calcined mixture with an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide in the molar ratio of 1/3 to prepare a paste and subjecting the paste to hydrothermal treatment at 150 deg.C for 24 hours. A waste bag comprising the composition as a material is incinerated to remove hydrogen chloride evolved in a incinerator and to consequently control the generation of dioxin.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acidic exhaust gas absorber capable of suppressing the formation of a harmful substance and, at the same time, preventing the corrosion of a device such as an incinerator, and also an acidic exhaust gas absorber capable of removing by absorption and fixing the acidic exhaust gas in an extensive range of temperatures. SOLUTION: As acidic exhaust gas absorber 12, there are used the one containing a salt of sodalite group or scapolite group belonging to aluminosilicate and the one at least containing, one type of salt selected from the group consisting of salts composed of a feldspar group, a feldspathoid group, a zeolite group, a mica group and a kaolinite group belonging to the alumin silicate and an alkali agent.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a colored slaked lime for a lime plaster containing a coloring substance uniformly dispersed therein and hardly causing an irregular color. SOLUTION: An inorganic material powder as a coloring substance is added to a limestone powder, baked and then slaked to produce a colored slaked lime for a lime plaster. The limestone is preferably a powder having 0.01-0.5mm average particle diameter. An inorganic material such as a pigment or further a sludge prepared by washing the limestone with water is used as the coloring substance. The amount of the coloring substance added thereto is preferably within the range of 1-20wt.% in the limestone. The baking temperature is preferably within the range of 900-1,300 deg.C. Since the sludge when washing the limestone with water contains calcium carbonate at a high concentration, the sludge can directly be used for baking.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the grinding efficiency, generate a finish surface of high quality, and provide easy manufacturability for an ultra-thin grinding wheel by forming a grinding layer in which plate-form alumina grains are uniformly dispersed and oriented in a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:Fine powder of plate-form alumina particles is generated in which the crystal form with similar particle sizes is hexagonal and a specific crystal surface is grown in the form of flat plate, and is used as abrasive grains, whereto a thermohardening resin as a binder is added so as to be equal amount, followed by mixing together. The inside of a nozzle is filled with this mixture, followed by heating till a temp. at which the binder resin is turned in semi- molten state. Right under the nozzle, the film substrate of polyethylene terephthalate is arranged, and thereover a grinding layer is formed to a thickness of approx. 200mum. The resultant is dried and press shaped to fabricate a grindstone. The grinding layer of the resultant grindstone is so formed that plate-form alumina particles as grindstone are uniformly dispersed and oriented in the binder resin.
