Abstract:
Aromatic bis-acrylic derivatives of the formula:
WHEREIN Y1 and Y2 each represent a
GROUP, AND R and X are each a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; a process for their preparation, and photosensitive ccompositions comprising such derivatives in admixture with linear polyamides in molar ratios of 2:1-1:100.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing 2-iodoethyl vinyl ether having high reactivity, useful as a functional monomer for providing an adhesive, lacquer, etc., by polymerization. SOLUTION: 2-Chloroethyl vinyl ether of the formula CH2=CHOCH2CH2Cl is reacted with a metal iodide compound of the formula MI (M is an alkali metal compound) to give 2-iodoethyl vinyl ether of the formula CH2=CHOCH2 CH2I.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a new compound having cationic polymerization activity and useful as a component of a functional block copolymer to be compounded to an adhesive, etc., to improve the water-resistance, etc., of the adhesive by reacting a polystyryl dianion with 2-iodoethyl vinyl ether. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer compound of formula II having a number- average molecular weight of 3,000-110,000 can be produced by reacting a polystyryl dianion of formula I n is positive integer) with 2-iodoethyl vinyl ether and adding a medium such as an alcohol to the obtained solution.
Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:2-Iodoethyl vinyl ether expressed by formula I. USE:A monomer, having high reactivity and capable of readily introducing functional groups such as amino, alkyl, aryl or alkoxy group in polymerization thereof. PREPARATION:2-Chloroethyl vinyl ether expressed by formula II is reacted with a metallic iodide compound expressed by formula III (M is alkali metallic atom) to afford the objective 2-iodoethyl vinyl ether expressed by formula I.
