Abstract:
A process for producing high-purity crystals which comprises using a polar solvent as a good solvent (e.g., an alcohol or an alcohol/water mixed solven t) and water as a poor solvent to crystallize the benzenesulfonamide derivative represented by the following formula (1); novel crystals of the nitrobenzenesulfonamide derivative represented by the following formula (2), which is an intermediate for the derivative (1); and a process for producing the novel crystals.
Abstract:
Provided is a cosmetic agent superior in a whitening effect (including prophylaxis and removal of pigmented spot) and having high safety. In addition, a superior melanin production suppressive agent is provided. A cosmetic agent or melanin production suppressive agent comprising (A) a cysteine derivative represented by the formula (I) or a salt thereof: wherein X and Y are each independently OR 1 or NHR 2 wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a C 1-22 alkyl group; Z is a hydrogen atom or a C 1-22 alkyl group; and W is a C 1-22 alkyl group, a C 1-22 alkoxy group or a C 1-22 alkylamino group, and (B) a whitening agent.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a new method for producing ²-hydroxy amino acid and its optically-active isomer in a convenient manner. The ²-hydroxy amino acid is produced by reacting a predetermined D-±-amino acid and 5,10-methylene tetrahydrofolic acid in the presence of an enzyme derived from a microorganism belonging to a genus selected from the group consisting of genera Paracoccus, Aminobacter, and Ensifer.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of producing a highly pure crystal, which includes crystallization of a benzenesulfonamide derivative of the following formula (1) using a polar solvent as a good solvent (e.g., alcohol or a mixed solvent of alcohol and water) and water as a poor solvent, and a novel crystal of a nitrobenzenesulfonamide derivative of the following formula (2), which is an intermediate for the derivative, and a production method thereof:
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing a β-hydroxyamino acid and an optically active substance thereof according to a simple technique. SOLUTION: A prescribed D-α-amino acid is reacted with 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolic acid and/or a prescribed aldehyde in the presence of an enzyme derived from microorganisms belonging to any genus of the group consisting of the genera Paracoccus, Aminobacter and Ensifer. Thereby, the β-hydroxyamino acid is produced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
