Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein an operator of a moving body has difficulty in operating a radiation monitoring device mounted on the moving body, under travel of the moving body.
SOLUTION: A boarding person such as the operator operation-controls by a voice input the radiation monitoring device including a measuring operation for a radiation measuring instrument. This radiation monitoring device is provided therefor with a microphone for inputting a control command by a voice of the person, a voice input converting part for a voice signal input from the microphone into a control command signal to be output to a control part, a voice output conversion part for a voice output signal from the control part into a synthesized sound signal, and a speaker for inputting the synthesized sound signal to transmit a synthesized sound to the boarding person. The voice input from the person and the synthesized sound output can be carried out interactively with a dialogue.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a radiation-measuring apparatus, for detecting γ-rays to measure in a low energy region by reducing cutting energy. SOLUTION: Output pulses from a radiation detector 20 and a plurality of radiation detectors 22 are bound and are counted at an OR circuit 24. The radiation detectors 22 detect charges generated by radioactive rays in a radiation detection semiconductor element 42, without being converted to a light at a scintillator, while conversion into the light at the scintillator is interposed in the radiation detector 20. A lower cut level can be set to the radiation detectors 22 than to the radiation detector 20 because of this difference of methods of detecting the radioactive rays. The measuring apparatus has a measuring range extended towards the low energy side.

A charge terminal 102 is electrically connected to the battery parts 110 and 114 at the time of charging, and a power source line is cut off by a cut-off circuit 112 at the time of non-charging. Magnetic noise is cut off in both respects of signal lines and the power source line.

SOLUTION: A facility where radiation is handled is divided to a plurality of areas, and a base station 10 is arranged for each area. The base station 10 communicates with a portable device 12 in the area by radio. The portable device 12 has a communication function by phone and a measurement function for radioactive rays. A host device 18 manages a dose detected by each of the portable devices. In this case, the base station 10 or an exchange 14 judges the area where each portable device is present, so that the host device 18 manages the areas where the portable devices are present as well. At the occurrence of an abnormality, the host device 18 outputs an alarm signal to a part or all of the portable devices 12.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a personal dose managing system in which transmission of measurement data from a personal dosimeter and charging operation thereof can be performed easily and positively by transmitting power and close information by radio and charging a battery by radio. CONSTITUTION:A flat-type antenna 12 is provided in order to transmit measured dose information and to charge a battery by radio. A rectifier circuit 14 functions to rectify a high frequency signal in order to charge a battery 16. A small-sized and light-weight battery 16 having high charging capacity is preferably employed. A dosimetric circuit 18 includes a semiconductor detector and a measurement signal therefrom is processed. A dose data is transmitted automatically by radio when it is requested by the system. An I/D circuit 20 delivers an identification signal of personal dosimeter which can be used for identifying the individual at the time of entering or leaving the room and individual identification information can be added to the dose information.
