    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in measurement accuracy which results from discharge path of accumulated charges in an electrometer circuit for ionization chamber, for integrating an input current to output voltage. SOLUTION: As the path for discharging an integrator 24 charged with the current from an ionization chamber detector 20, a first discharge path formed of a contact type electromagnetic relay 26 and a second discharge route formed of the serial connection of an electromagnetic relay 28 and a transistor switch 30 are provided in parallel to each other. The first discharge path has the characteristic of causing no leakage current, and the second discharge path can ignore the discharge period forming a dead time by the high-speed electronic operation of a semiconductor. At a low dose rate, where the influence of leakage current can be increased with a long charging time, the electromagnetic relay 28 is set to OFF, and charging and discharging is switched by the operation of the electromagnetic relay 26. At a high dose rate, where the use of a switch having a short dead time is suitable with a long charging period, the electromagnetic relay 26 is set to OFF, and the electromagnetic relay 28 is set to ON for switching the charging and discharging by the operation of the transistor switch 30.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit static noise from having an affect to the minimum in radiological survey instruments, such as survey meters.
    SOLUTION: The moving average value train is obtained by moving average operation of the measurement data (raw data) string. The static noise 200 is roughly divided into the 1st part and the 2nd part, wherein when the 1st part is detected the moving average values of the A-1 point obtained in the past in the interval of the 2nd part have been displayed. When the 2nd part of the waveform is detected the measured value ranging between the A point to the C point is eliminated from the object of the moving average operation. Thereby, the problem of the static noise being displayed is alleviated and the affection of static noise remaining in the moving average is prevented after its generation.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radiation measuring apparatus in which a measuring range can be confirmed easily while an analog indication value is being observed by a method wherein a range display part which displays the measuring range selected at present is installed inside an analog display part. SOLUTION: For example, an analog pointer 42 which indicates a measured value, light emitting diodes(LEDs) 46 which indicate a measuring range and a multipurpose digital display part 44 which can display, e.g. various pieces of information are provided at the display part 40 of a survey meter. The multipurpose digital display part 44 is a liquid crystal display device of e.g. about 16 digits, and the various pieces of information are displayed according to the selection or the like of a measuring operator. The LEDs 46 are installed at respective selectable measuring ranges, and they are arranged in a prescribed sequence. Then, the LEDs 46 which correspond to a measuring range selected, e.g. by a range switch emit light, and the measuring range which is selected is displayed. When a measured value exceeds a preset threshold value, the LEDs 46 as a group are made to blink, and the LEDs are constituted so as to be used also as an alarm display.

The computing circuit 6 compares the counting rates from both radiation measuring parts 2, 4 in the form of their ratio or difference so as to find a corrected counting rate. In a process in which their ratio or difference is found, the degree of a reduction in the counting rate caused by a counting omission provided at the respective counting rates is cancelled, and the correction accuracy of the counting omission is enhanced.

CONSTITUTION:A radiation which is radiated from a radioactive substance which has adhered to the surface of an object to be measured is measured by a probe 14, and, at the same time, the distance between the object to be measured and the probe 14 is detected by a distance detector 24. Then, on the basis of the distance detected by the distance detector 24, a contaminationdegree conversion part 26 converts a measured value measured by the probe 14 into a radiation contamination degree which is measured from a prescribed distance with reference to the object to be measured. Consequently, even when the relative distance between the probe 14 and the object to be measured is changed, the radiation is measured with definite detection efficiency, and the contamination degree can be measured.
