Abstract:
Compounds, compositions and methods that are useful in the treatment of inflammatory and immune conditions and diseases are provided herein. In particular, the invention provides compounds which modulate the expression and/or function of a chemokine receptor. The subject methods are useful for the treatment of inflammatory and immunoregulatory disorders and diseases, such as multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, transplant rejection and type I diabetes.
Abstract:
The present invention provides compounds useful, for example, for modulating insulin levels in a subject, having the general formula I: wherein Q is an optionally substituted phenyl; L is a bond or O; P is a benzene or an optionally substituted thiazole ring; and R 1 has the values provided herein. The present invention also provides compositions, uses, and methods for use of the compounds, for instance, for treatment of type II diabetes.
Abstract:
Provided herein are myeloid cell leukemia 1 protein (Mcl-1) inhibitors, methods of their preparation, related pharmaceutical compositions, and methods of using the same. For example, provided herein are compounds of Formula I, or a stereoisomer thereof; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof and pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds. The compounds and compositions provided herein may be used, for example, in the treatment of diseases or conditions, such as cancer.
Abstract:
The present invention provides compounds useful, for example, for treating metabolic disorders in a subject. Such compounds have the general formula IA, IB, I'A or I'B, where the definitions of the variables are provided herein. The present invention also provides compositions that include, and methods for using, the compounds in preparing medicaments and for treating metabolic disorders such as, for example, type II diabetes.
Abstract:
