Abstract: PURPOSE: To display a computer image without using a frame buffer by using a recursive program so as to generate the contour of an intersection area and so as to decide a color and a shading to fill the intersection area. CONSTITUTION: As shown in a processing block 201, the color of a shape (n) is decided and combined with the color of its background by using a transferring mode function. Next, in a block 208, color combination is executed until a loop finishing condition is satisfied and the combination of the colors of all the shapes of present recursion is decided. In a block 203, the geometry and the clipping geometry of the shape (n) are decided. After geometric intersection is decided, its intersection shape is expressed by a decided color (processing block 204) and in order to judge whether (n)-number of each shape are processed or not, a processing finishing condition is tested (processing block 205). When the finishing condition is satisfied, the procedure goes back to a calling processing logic as shown in a block 206.
