Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide the method and device to generate the pixel shading value for a display device which is controlled by a computer. CONSTITUTION: This device is generally concreted by a rendering pipeline. As every stage of the pipeline carries out a specific pixel shading function, the pixels are distributed and directly shaded. This method includes a process to take the pixel interpolation value out of the object description, a process to supply the 1st and 2nd shading parameters and the pixel interpolation value to a 1st shading means, a process to generate the 1st shading value to the pixels, a process to supply the 2nd and 3rd shading parameters and the pixel interpolation value to a 2nd shading means, and a process to generate the 2nd shading value to the pixels.
