Abstract: PURPOSE: To replace a specified input device with another one by providing a connecting means which connects a modular type input device with a housing assembly. CONSTITUTION: An alphanumeric character keypad 22 is provided on the left hand side of a keyboard 1, and a numeric keypad 23 is provided on the right hand side of the keyboard 1. Then, the keyboard 1 can be appropriately held by tabs 18, 19, and 26 at the back part and a tub on the left hand side. A cable 25 has two connectors 27 and 28. The alphanumeric character keypad track board 22 or the device 23 can be inserted into a board housing 1, and a pin connector 21 is connected through the connector 28 with the cable 25.
