Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headset engaging connector system which includes two or more headset engaging contact regions to provide at least one of power and data.SOLUTION: A headset connector system 200 includes two or more headset connector contact regions 221, 222, 223. The headset connector system 200 or a headset engaging connector system includes switching circuitry 215 electrically coupled to each of the contact regions. The switching circuitry 215 can be operative to determine an interface orientation between the headset connector contact regions and headset engaging contact regions. At least a portion of the headset connector system or the headset engaging connector system has magnetic attractive force.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide headset connector systems and headset engaging connector systems.SOLUTION: Headset connector systems 200 includes two or more headset connector contact regions 211, 212, 213 to provide at least one of power and data. The headset connector system 200 includes switching circuitry 215 electrically coupling the respective contact regions. The switching circuitry 215 can be operative to determine an interface orientation between the headset connector contact regions 211, 212, 213 and the headset engaging contact regions 221, 222, 223. The switching circuitry 215 can also be operative to selectively route received signals based on the determined interface orientation. At least a portion of the headset connector system 200 or a headset engaging connector system is magnetically attractive.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to apparatuses, systems, methods, and computer readable media that can facilitate the transfer of power between at least two electrical devices. At least one of the electrical devices is preferably a battery operated device. The present invention may also be used to facilitate the transfer of information among electrical devices. For example, the present invention may be used to automatically pair two Bluetooth devices together.
Abstract:
A display system that includes a housing, at least one light source, a diffuser, and control circuitry is provided. The housing can have an internal wall and a signal indicator region. The at least one light source can be located within the housing. The diffuser can be disposed between the at least one light source and the internal wall. The control circuitry can be electrically coupled to and operable to cause the at least one light source to emit light that passes through the diffuser to the signal indicator region. A method for displaying signals in a headset including a signal indicator region is provided. The method can include emitting light from at least one LED. The method can include transmitting the light through a diffuser and onto the signal indicator region. The diffuser can include a substantially transparent substrate in which a plurality of translucent particles are embedded.
Abstract:
Techniques and apparatus to provide improved visibility to user input devices, such as keys, are disclosed. In low light conditions, key legends can be difficult to distinguish. For example, often keys have legends on them to visually distinguish them from one another, but in low light conditions it can be difficult for users to visually identify the different keys. The legends can be textual and/or graphic. Hence, according to one embodiment, light from a nearby (e.g., attached) display device can be used to provide illumination to the user input devices (e.g., keys). The user input devices can be configured to include reflective optical components to enhance reflection of light and thereby improve visibility of the keys or the legends thereon.
