Abstract:
In some embodiments, an electronic device presents information about, and facilitates downloading of, featured applications in an app store application. In some embodiments, an electronic device facilitates browsing of applications and games by category. In some embodiments, an electronic device facilitates presentation of information about in-app purchases for a game or application in an app store application. In some embodiments, an electronic device facilitates the purchase of in- app purchases for the games or applications that are available on the electronic device. In some embodiments, an electronic device facilitates the download/purchase of games, applications and/or in-app purchases from outside of an app store application that is for browsing such content available on the electronic device. In some embodiments, an electronic device autoplays media content corresponding to applications (e.g., games, non-game applications, etc.) in an app store application so as to facilitate the ordered presentation of the media content to the user.
Abstract:
Methods and systems provide synchronized sharing of multimedia between multiple devices. The multiple devices may form an ad-hoc network for sharing of multimedia. In an embodiment, group members may have playlist manipulation privileges such as pausing, rewinding, fast forwarding, or adding tracks to the playlist (116). A system may stream or distribute content according to the shared playlist (116). Playback may be synchronized for group members so that everyone is exposed to a same part of the content at the same time.
Abstract:
In some embodiments, an electronic device presents media items from different media applications in a unified media browsing application. In some embodiments, an electronic device facilitates browsing of media from different media applications based on category of media (e.g., movies, television shows, etc.). In some embodiments, an electronic device facilitates setup of a unified media browsing application that presents media items from different media applications in a unified media browsing user interface. In some embodiments, an electronic device displays multiple episodes of a collection of episodic content (e.g., a television series) in a user interface for the collection of episodic content. In some embodiments, an electronic device displays representations of, and provides access to, live-event media items accessible on the electronic device.
Abstract:
An electronic device provides, to a display, data to present a user interface with a plurality of user interface objects that includes a first user interface object and a second user interface object. A current focus is on the first user interface object. The device receives an input that corresponds to a request to move the current focus; and, in response, provides, to the display, data to: move the first user interface object from a first position towards the second user interface object and/or tilt the first user interface object from a first orientation towards the second user interface object; and, after moving and/or tilting the first user interface object, move the current focus from the first user interface object to the second user interface object, and move the first user interface object back towards the first position and/or tilt the first user interface object back towards the first orientation.
Abstract:
A computing device provides methods and workflow for setting up a shared family account on a content storage system, including the creation of accounts for child family members. A computing device supports the creation of a family account using an account on the content storage system associated with an adult family member acting as a family organizer. The family organizer can designate a specific account as a purchase account for allowing other family member to purchase content from content servers associated with the content storage system. The family organizer can invite other adult family members to join the shared family account. The family organizer can create new accounts on the content storage system for child family members, and can designate access and purchase restrictions for such child family members. Family members have access to shared storage content, as well as services such as family calendar, group messaging, and device location.
