Abstract: An electronic device comprising a connector including a plurality of contacts and a liquid detection module coupled to at least one contact in the plurality of contacts. The liquid detection module can be configured to generate and apply a time varying voltage or current to the at least one contact over a range of frequencies, measure complex impedance including phase and magnitude at the at least one contact, and determine whether liquid intrusion has occurred on the contacts based on previously measured signatures of phase and magnitude versus frequency.

Abstract: There is provided a wirelessly locatable device (500) configured to send a wireless signal to an electronic device to facilitate localization of the wirelessly locatable device by the electronic device. The wirelessly locatable device (500) comprises a first housing member (502) defining a first exterior surface of the wirelessly locatable device, a second housing member (516) removably coupled to the first housing member and defining a second exterior surface of the wirelessly locatable device, and an antenna assembly (508). The antenna assembly (508) comprises an antenna frame (802) defining a top surface, a peripheral side surface, and a hole through the top surface. The antenna assembly (508) further comprises a first antenna (806, 826) on the antenna frame along the peripheral side surface and configured to communicate with the electronic device using a first wireless protocol, a second antenna (808, 833) on the antenna frame along the peripheral side surface and configured to send a localization signal to the electronic device using a second wireless protocol different than the first wireless protocol, and a third antenna (804, 824) on the antenna frame along the top surface and configured to communicate with the electronic device via a third wireless protocol different than the first and second wireless protocols. The wirelessly locatable device (500) further comprises an audio system (404, 504, 506) positioned at least partially in the hole and configured to produce an audio output.

Abstract: There is provided a wirelessly locatable tag (500) configured to transmit a wireless signal to an electronic device used for a localization of the wirelessly locatable tag (500) by the electronic device, comprising: a first housing member (502) defining: a first exterior surface (501) of the wirelessly locatable tag; and an interior surface opposite the first exterior surface; a second housing member (516) defining a second exterior surface (505) of the wirelessly locatable tag; a first antenna (508) configured transmit the wireless signal using a first wireless protocol; a second antenna (508) configured to communicate using a second wireless protocol different than the first wireless protocol; and an audio system comprising: a magnet assembly (506) configured to produce a magnetic field; and a coil (504) positioned within the magnetic field and coupled to the interior surface of the first housing member (502), the coil configured to interact with the magnetic field to impart a force on the first housing member (502), thereby moving a portion of the first housing member to produce an audible output.
