Abstract: Features for increasing sounding reference signal (SRS) resource capacity for wireless communications may include introducing a larger comb size with comb hopping, providing support to determine the slot offset and/or comb offset for aperiodic SRS based on downlink control information (DCI) alone or based on both DCI and radio resource control (RRC), applying RB level frequency hopping within an SRS resource across different symbols, and/or applying time domain orthogonal cover code (TD-OCC) to symbols within an SRS resource. The TD-OCC may be applied to SRS for codebook, non-codebook and antenna switching, and may also be applied simultaneously with comb hopping and/or RB level hopping in certain scenarios.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device and a cellular base station to support common analog beam steering for band groups. The wireless device may provide an indication of analog beam steering capability of the wireless device to the cellular base station. For example, the wireless device may support a limited number of analog beams for each of one or more band groups. The cellular base station may select beam configuration information for the wireless device based at least in part on the indication of analog beam steering capability of the wireless device. This may include selecting a common beam for multiple component carriers for the wireless device based on the wireless device's analog beam steering capability. The cellular base station may provide the beam configuration information to the wireless device.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for radio link monitoring for multiple DCI based transmissions. The UE may receive, from a network node, a configuration for multiple downlink control information (DCI) mode operation in which a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) is scheduled by multiple DCIs from a number of control resource sets (CORESETs). The number of CORESETs may exceed a number of CORESETs the UE can monitorable. The UE may determine a set of CORESETs to monitor based, at least in part, on one or more CORESET properties. The set of CORESETs to monitor may be less than the number of CORESETs. Additionally, the UE may monitor the set of CORESETs for at least one of a radio link failure or a beam failure.

The UE may establish communication with a base station. The UE may determine one or more beams to perform downlink communication from the base station. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication of a first type of downlink reference signals to perform beam failure detection. The UE may perform signal quality measurements for the one or more beams using the first type of downlink reference signals. The UE may determine beam failure of at least one beam of the one or more beams based on said performing signal quality measurements.
