    Abstract: A receptacle connector for a electronic device includes two sets of contacts arranged in two opposing rows in a cavity. A corresponding plug connector can be inserted into the receptacle connector so as to contact both sets of contacts. The receptacle connectors includes contacts that are dedicated for DisplayPort signals and contacts that provide non-DisplayPort signals. The contacts dedicated for DisplayPort signals are only enabled if the electronic device receives a notification from a connected accessory that that the accessory supports DisplayPort capability. Otherwise these contacts are in an "open" or deactivated state.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for reducing unwanted noise in an electronic audio signal, wherein a computing device having a microphone is configured to receive signals from a sensor on an external device such as a camera, second microphone, or movement sensor. The signals from the sensor are used to identify sound information or characteristics of sounds made by a source of noise, and the audio signal of the microphone is modified to reduce unwanted sounds based on that sound information or based on sounds identified a second audio signal obtained by the second microphone, thereby improving teleconference and video conference audio quality and removing distracting noises from transmitted audio output.

    Abstract: A stackable connector interface with magnetic retention for electronic devices and accessories can allow power and data to be transferred between one or more stacked connectors. Each interconnected stackable connector may include one or more magnetic elements, which magnetic elements may have poles arranged to facilitate mating with other stackable connectors. The magnetic elements may also provide a magnetic retention force that holds mated connectors in contact with each other. The connectors can also include connection detection circuitry for determining whether the connectors are mated with other connectors, thereby allowing the connectors to prevent live contacts from being exposed at an unmated surface of the connectors. In addition to connection detection circuitry, routing circuitry may also be included to determine how signals should be transferred between the interconnected stackable connectors and/or corresponding devices.
