Abstract: Methods of operating an information centric network (ICN) control function (CF). At least one of the methods includes: processing an ICN create-service request received from an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF); allocating one or more ICN point of attachments (ICN-PoAs) based on the ICN create-service request; and forwarding the ICN create-service request to at least one of the allocated one or more ICN-PoAs.
