Abstract: A SF6-breaker is equipped with a pressure sensing device (5), e.g. a pressure guard, which connects the breaker's gas-refilling nipple (3) and stands in relation to the break chamber via a radial opening (31) in the nipple. By combining the pressure guard with the refilling vent in this manner the total numbers of leakage routes are reduced. Refilling of gas can occur both before and after mounting of the pressure guard (5) and this can be mounted and dismounted without a loss of gas. In such a device, the total number of active connections in operation is only two.
