Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system having radio modules capable of reducing a burden of a microcomputer and detecting other adjacent units. SOLUTION: Each of the radio modules 11-14 broadcasts an inquiry signal to surroundings, receives a response signal to the inquiry signal from other radio module and detects received signal intensity of the response signal. An incorporated CPU 21, a PDA 22 and terminals 23, 24 detect distance between the connected radio module and other radio modules based on the received signal intensity of the response signal and when the detected distance is equal to or less than a reference value, detect other radio modules as adjacent radio modules. The incorporated CPU 21, etc. associate addresses, distance, owners' names or installation place names of the adjacent radio modules with on/off signals of microphones 31, 32 and store them as history information.
