Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for preventing the termination of a communication session between two devices, where the communication session is being conducted over a wireless network, at least in part. More specifically, the present disclosure provides methods and systems for the prevention of a TCP session's premature termination, or TCP session persistence, in such a network by simulating signals of normal communication so that the receiving device “believes” that the simulated signals have been transmitted from the other device.
