    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable both interruption of current and closing of a circuit by means of one explosion by providing both an interrupting circuit and a closing circuit in the same device. CONSTITUTION:An upper conductor 3 comprises a current terminal 11A joined to the side of a metal plate portion 1 and a current terminal 11B joined to the side of a metal sheet portion 2 and a lower conductor 5 includes a current terminal 11C joined thereto and the metal plate portion and the lower conductor 5 constitute a current circuit. The upper conductor 3 is suddenly driven downward by detonation wave power generated by explosion of an explosive 9 and then the metal sheet portion 2 constituting the upper conductor 3 is cut off by the toothed portion of a seat 6. Thus a current flowing between the current terminals 11A,11B is interrupted via the metal sheet portion 2 at high speed and the metal plate portion 1 constituting the upper conductor 3 is deposited to the lower conductor 5 so that a making current is caused to flow between the current terminals 11A,11C at high speed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate processing of a seat by constituting the seat of plural flat insulating plates arranged in a parallel, regularly-spaced relation to one another and a support stand provided with a cross section having plural channels of width such that the lower portion of the side edge of each insulating plate is fitted therewith, and fitting the insulating plates into the respective channeled portions of the support stand so as to form the toothed portion of the seat. CONSTITUTION:A seat 7 comprises plural flat insulating plates 9 arranged in a parallel, regularly-spaced relation to one another and a support stand 10 provided with a cross section having plural channels of width such that the lower portion of the side edge of each insulating plate 9 is fitted therewith; the toothed portion of the seat 7 is formed by fitting the insulating plates 9 into the respective channeled portions of the support stand 10. Therefore, processing of the toothed portion of the seat 7 is accomplished simply by shallowly-channeling process to be carried out in one part of the support stand 10 for sandwiching each insulating plate 9 between the channels and cutting process of a flat material to be carried out for fabricating the rectangular insulating plate 9 of several mm thick. Thus processing is facilitated and also processing time is shortened.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a high speed shutter capable of preventing adhesion of electrode metal vapor to an illumination object by simply constituting the high speed shutter which is arranged on the way of a hollow pipe path and lets pass and shield for a short time the light travelling to a target point through the hollow pipe path from a light source of plasma generated between electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The shutter is constituted by arranging a fixed shield plate 7 and a rotary shield plate 8 rotated with a motor 9 both provided with a light passing hole 13 or notches 14, a partition plate 24 which slides and comes into contact with the rotary shield plate 8 in a pressed state and is made unavailable to rotate in the peripheral direction and partition the space in the hollow pipe path 5 into the fixed shield plate 7 side and the illuminating object 11 side, and a wavelength selection means to let only light in a desired time band among the reached light pass to the illuminating object 11. The wavelength selection means is constituted of a rotational reflection mirror 10 or a second rotary shield plate which rotates synchronizing with the rotary shield plate 8.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To raise the speed of a missile by a method wherein a plurality of stages of a plurality of electric power supplying rails, having different opposing directions of parallel conductors from each other, are connected through an insulating body provided with a penetrated hole for passing the missile and individual electric current sources are connected to respective electric power supplying rails while a plurality of armatures are secured to the rear part of the missile through insulating plates respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a throwing switch 26 is thrown, magnetic fields 34 are generated between electric power supplying rails 21 by current 33A, 33B conducted through parallel conductors 21A, 21B from an electric current source 27 whereby the current 33c is conducted through an armature 29 and a missile 23 is accelerated into X-direction by a Lorentz force. When an insulating body 25 is arranged at a position whereat the armature 29 becomes plasmatic and begins to be separated from the missile 23 and the armatures 30 after the starting of the missile 23, the missile 23 passes through a penetrating hole 24 to enter between next electric power supplying rails 22, then, power supply from the electric current source 27 is stopped whereby plasma by the armature 29 is eliminated. However, the metallic fins 32 of the armatures 30 are contacted with the electric power supplying rails 22 whereby the armatures 30 receive electric power newly from the electric current source 28 through another electric power supplying rails 22 and missile 23 is accelerated further by a magnetic field 35 generated by a current 34 conducted through the parallel conductors 22A, 22B.
