Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a control body for milking unit support so as to continuously apply the weight of milking unit only to the teat of milking cow. CONSTITUTION: This control body is equipped with plural valves 68, 70, 72 and 74 to cooperate for decreasing the air pressure of the counter balance cylinder 32 when a milking unit 12 applies force to a chain 26. When the air pressure of the counter balance cylinder is decreased, a rod 16 and an arm 20 fall down because of dead weight until force is removed from the chain 26 and the weight of milking unit 12 is carried on the teat of milking cow. When a holder 10 is located at height so as not to apply the weight of milking unit 12 to a lever 22, the valve 74 is closed, pressure is stored in the counter balance cylinder 32 and the rod 16 is held at a new position.
