    Abstract: The invention provides new prepolymerized catalyst components for the (co)polymerization of olefins CH 2 =CHR, wherein R is hydrogen or a C1-C12 alkyl group, characterized by comprising a solid catalyst component, comprising Mg, Ti, halogen and an electron donor compound chosen among alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl esters of polycarboxylic acids obtained by reacting, in the presence of said electron donor compound a titanium compound of formula Ti(OR)n-yXy, where n is the valence of titanium and y is a number between 1 and n, and R has the meaning given above, with an adduct of formula MgCl 2 €¢pROH, where p is a number between 0,1 and 6 and R is a hydrocarbon radical having 1-18 carbon atoms, said catalyst component being capable of yielding under standard propylene polymerization conditions a propylene homopolymer having an insolubility in xylene at 25°C higher than 90%, and being prepolymerized with ethylene to such an extent that the amount of the ethylene prepolymer is up to 100g per g of said solid catalyst component. These such catalyst components allow to obtain a high catalyst activity, a high isotactic index and are not affected by aging.

    Abstract: La invención suministra nuevos componentes catalíticos polimerizados para la (co)polimerización de olefinas CH{sub,2}=CHR, en donde R es hidrógeno o un grupo alquilo C1-12, que se caracteriza por comprender un componente catalítico sólido, que comprende Ti, Mg, halógeno y un compuesto donante de electrones, que es capaz de producir, bajo condiciones de polimerización estándar, un homopolímero de propileno que tiene una insolubilidad en xileno a 25º C superior al 90%, que se prepolimeriza con etileno hasta tal extensión que la cantidad de prepolímero de etileno es de hasta 100 g por g del componente catalítico sólido. Estos componentes catalíticos permiten obtener una alta actividad catalítica, un alto índice isotáctico y no son aceptados por el envejecimiento.

    Abstract: Olefin polymers produced using components of catalysts obtained by contacting a Ti compound of formula Ti(OR)n-yXy, where n is the valence of titanium and y is a number between 1 and n, with a pre-polymer having a porosity higher than 0.3 cc/g and containing from 0.5 to 100 g of polymer per g of solid catalyst component, the pre-polymer being obtained by (co)polymerizing an olefin or a diolefin in the presence of a catalyst comprising a Ti, V, Zr or Hf compound supported on a Mg dihalide having a mean crystallite dimension lower than 30 nm.
