Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain the subject powdery mixture useful for tablets, etc., excellent in sustained release, adhesion stability for many hours, redispersible in cold water without using an auxiliary substance, comprising a specific emulsion polymer and an ethylenic unsaturated polymerizable monomer in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION: This mixture comprises 10-100 wt.% of an emulsion polymer polymerized in the presence of 0.1-2 pts.wt. of a saccharified starch having 2,500-25,000 molecular weight. The polymer is composed of 1 pt.wt. of one or more ethylenic unsaturated polymerizable monomers such as methyl methacrylate.
