Abstract: The invention provides reactive dyes having the formula in which E is a coupling component which contains at least one sulphonic acid group, X is an anionic group capable of being eliminated, and the phenyl group A may be further substituted. The dyes are obtained by coupling a compound E-H with the diazo compound of an amine of formula In particular, X is a halogen atom preferably chlorine, or an -SO3H, -S.SO3H, -SCN, a quaternary ammonium or isothiuronium salt group, A may be substituted by alkyl, alkoxy or sulphonic acid groups or by a halogen atom. The dyes give blue-yellow-red colours on celluloric materials and also on wool, silk, leather and fur.
