Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing free-flowing, dustless keto-L-gulonic acid granules from fine-particle, pure keto-L-gulonic acid. According to said method, an aqueous or water-containing solution of keto-L-gulonic acid is supplied to a) a spray fluidised bed drying installation, b) a single-substance nozzle atomisation drying installation, or c) a disk atomisation drying installation.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Process for removal of residual styrene monomers from polystyrene and from blends comprising water-insoluble, crosslinked polyvinylpyrrolidone, via treatment with water, which comprises carrying out the treatment on a particulate solid blend.

Abstract:
A pigment formulation in granule form obtainable by a) dispersing at least two different pigments (A) in a solution of a thermoplastic polymer (B) in an organic solvent in the presence or absence of a dispersant (C), and b) applying as a layer the dispersion produced in step a) to granules of a thermoplastic polymer (B'), which is the same as the polymer (B), with removal of the solvent, wherein the pigment formulation includes the granules of the thermoplastic polymer (B'); and a coating on the granules of the thermoplastic polymer (B'), where the coating comprises the at least two different pigments (A) and the thermoplastic polymer (B).
Abstract:
Preparation of granulated pigment comprises: (1) dispersing at least two different pigments in a solution of a thermoplastic polymer(s) and optionally a dispersing agent; and (2) granulating the mixture with solvent removal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) plastic molding compositions colored with the pigment preparations; and (2) laminated films containing at least one layer colored with the pigment preparation.
Abstract:
A low-dust, free-flowing choline chloride powder based on natural carriers or silica, the choline chloride content on natural carriers being from 30 to 60% by weight and that on silica being from 30 to 80% by weight, based on the choline chloride powder, is prepared by a process in which (a) choline chloride solution is mixed with the carrier in the desired ratio within the stated range, (b) the resulting mixture is sprayed continuously into a fluidized bed already containing dry choline chloride powder and is dried there at from 90 DEG to 180 DEG C., and (c) the dried end product is removed from the fluidized bed and cooled to below 50 DEG C.
