Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion suitable for priming a glasslike substrate, a mineral substrate in particular. SOLUTION: This priming method of mineral substrate comprises a process of applying an aqueous dispersion of composite particles to the mineral substrate. The dispersion is obtained by free-radical emulsion polymerization of a mixture of ethylenically unsaturated alkoxy silane monomer comprising addition polymer and finely particulate inorganic solid, and containing at least one kind of ethylenically unsaturated alcoxy silane monomer, in the presence of the finely particulate inorganic solid dispersely distributed in an aqueous medium and at least one kind of dispersion. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensitive adhesive for a carrier consisting of a flexible PVC. SOLUTION: The polymer comprises 0.5-30 mass% of vinyl acetate (a), 0.1-10 mass% of a monomer having at least one acid group or acid anhydride group, 5-70 mass% of at least one monomer (c) which is different from (a) and (b), whose solubility for water is larger than 5 g/l (21°C, 1 bar), and which has a glass transition temperature lower than 15°C, 0-20 mass% of a vinylaromatic monomer (d) whose solubility for water is smaller than 5 g/l, 0-90 mass% of at least one 1-20C alkyl(meth)acrylate (e) which is different from (a)-(d), and 0-40 mass% of at least another monomer (f) which is different from (a)-(e). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesion method for bonding a formed product in high strength with adhesive strength and specific elasticity corresponding to those of an epoxide adhesive and giving initial strength in a level requiring no fixing of the formed product. SOLUTION: This method for bonding the formed product by adhesion is A) at first, to coat the surface of at least one formed product to be bonded with an adhesive with at least 5 mass% polymer comprising glycidyl methacrylate and B) to bond the product by crosslinking the glycidyl groups. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film, a tape and a label each leaving no residue when they are peeled from a substrate. SOLUTION: An aqueous polymer dispersion used as an adhesive of a peelable adhesive film, a tape or a label contains 0.1 to 10 mass wt. of an emulsifier having a phosphate group per 100 mass weight of the polymer.
