Abstract: Polyurethane (A) has components comprising (a) organic (cyclo)aliphatic or aromatic di- or polyisocyanate(s) with functionality over 2, (b) compound(s) with isocyanate (NCO)-reactive group(s) and unsaturated group(s) capable of free radical polymerization, (c) photoinitiator(s) with NCO-reactive group(s) and, as optional components, (d) di- and/or polyisocyanate(s) other than (a), (e) other compound(s) with not less than 2 NCO-reactive groups, (f) compound(s) with exactly one NCO-reactive group and (g) compound(s) with N-oxyl group(s) and NCO-reactive group(s). Independent claims are included for (1) preparation of polyurethane acrylates (A); (2) radiation-curable coating compositions containing (A) and optionally other components.
