Abstract: Process of sealing comprises pressing together at an elevated temperature two substrates, one of which has been coated with an aqueous dispersion containing a radically polymerised polymer. The dispersion further contains a polymer containing at least 20 wt.% ethylene and at least 5 wt.% ethylenically-unsaturated acid. Also claimed is an aqueous dispersion of a radically polymerised polymer obtained by emulsion polymerisation in the presence of an ethylene polymer. The dispersion further comprises the ethylene polymer.
