    Abstract: Composition comprises (I) a graft copolymer consisting of (A) a copolymer of 30 to 77 weight % butylacrylate and/or ethylhexylacrylate, 20 to 40% butadiene and 3 to 30% of a vinylalkylether having 1 to 8C atoms in the alkyl residue; the copolymer having been produced by copolymerisation in aqueous emulsion; having grafted thereon (B) 10 to 50 weight % with respect to (A) of styrene or a styrene/acrylonitrile mixture containing up to 30% acrylonitrile; and (II) a 60:40 to 90:10 styrene/acrylonitrile copolymer; the total composition containing 10 to 35% with respect to solid content of the total composition, of component (A); said composition being characterised in that it also contains 0.1 to 5 weight % of 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane homogeneously distributed therein.

    Abstract: 1291636 Graft polymer compositions BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 6 March 1970 [8 May 1969] 10814/70 Headings C3G and C3P A moulding composition comprises a styreneacrylonitrile copolymer and a graft polymer of styrene and acrylonitrile on a backbone copolymer of a C 4 to C 8 alkyl acrylate and the acrylic ester of tricyclodecenyl alcohol, wherein said backbone copolymer used in the formation of the graft polymer is in the form of a latex of mean particle size 0À15 to 0À8 micron and showing a narrow particle size distribution. In the examples, the backbone copolymer is an n-butyl acrylate/tricyclodecenyl acrylate copolymer prepared in aqueous emulsion using a seed polymerization technique.
