Abstract: Metal chelates obtd. by reacting ferrocene dicarboxylic acids of ferrocene dicarboxylic acid derivs. with amines of formula (I) followed by complexing by adding metal salts of sub-gp. I, VI,VII or VIII metals are new. In (I) A is aromatic 5-6 membered ring opt. contg. 1-2 heteroatoms; R1 is COOH, XNH2, XNHR2, or gps. (i)-(v) where X is CO, CS, SO, SO2, C = NR3, P(=O)NH2 or P(=O)NHR3; R2 and R3 are 1-2C alkyl, 6-20C aryl or 7-20C aryl alkyl; Y is CH2, O, S or NR2.
