Abstract: Copolymers prepared by copolymerization of (a) a total of from 3.5 to 20% by weight of at least one polymerizable acid selected from (a1) ethylenically unsaturated C3-C10-monocarboxylic acid and (a2) ethylenically unsaturated C4-C10-dicarboxylic acid or their anhydrides, (b) from 4 to 10% by weight of at least one compound of the general formula I the sum of (a) and (b) being in the range from 7.5 to 24% by weight, (c) from 60 to 92.5% by weight of at least one compound of the general formula II (d) from 0 to 0.5% by weight of at least one compound of the general formula III (e) from 0 to 10% by weight of (meth)acrylonitrile, (f) from 0 to 10% by weight of at least one conjugated diolefin, (g) from 0 to 10% by weight of at least one vinylaromatic compound of the general formula IV the variables being defined as follows: R1 and R2 are identical or different and are selected from hydrogen and C1-C10-alkyl, R3 and R4 are identical or different and are selected from hydrogen, C1-C20-alkyl, phenyl, or R3 and R4 together are C2-C10-alkylene, substituted or unsubstituted, R5 is selected from C1-C20-alkyl and phenyl, R6, R7, R8, R9, R10 and R11 are identical or different and are selected from hydrogen and C1-C10-alkyl, x is an integer in the range from 0 to 12, y is selected from 0 and 1, x being chosen to be not equal to 0 when y is 1, k is an integer in the range from 0 to 3, it being possible for the copolymers to be completely or partly neutralized with alkali or ammonium and data in % by weight being based in each case on the total copolymer.

Abstract: copolímero, dispersão aquosa, uso de dispersões aquosas, processos para revestimento de substratos flexíveis, para produção de sapatos, acessórios, peças de mobília ou peças para automóveis, e, para preparação de copolímeros, substrato flexível revestido, peça de mobília, e, peça para automóveis a invenção refere-se a copolímeros produzidos por copolimerização de: (a) no total, 3,5 até 20% em peso de pelo menos um ácido polimerizável selecionado entre: (a1) ácidos c~ 3~-c~ 10~-monocarboxilicos etilenicamente insaturados e (a2) ácidos c~ 4~ -c~ 10~- monocarboxílicos etilenicamente insaturados ou anidridos dos mesmos; (b) 4 até 10% em peso de pelo menos um composto de fórmula geral (i), sendo que a soma de (a) e (b) está entre 7,5 e 24% em peso; (c) 60 até 92,5% em peso de pelo menos um composto de fórmula geral (ii); (d) 0 até 0,5% em peso de pelo menos um composto de fórmula geral (iii); (e) 0 até 10% em peso de (met) acrilonitrila; (f) 0 até 10% em peso de pelo menos uma diolefina conjugada; (g) 0 até 10% em peso de pelo menos um composto vinil aromático de fórmula geral (iv), sendo que as variáveis sendo definidas como a seguir: r^ 1^ e r^ 2^ são idênticos ou diferentes e são selecionados entre hidrogênio e c~ 1~ -c~ 10~-alquila; r^ 3^ e r^ 4^ são idênticos ou diferentes e are selecionados entre hidrogênio, c~ 1~-c~ 20~-alquila e fenila ou r^ 3^ e r^ 4^ juntos são c~ 2~-c~ 10~-alquileno, substituidos ou não substituídos, r^ 5^ é selecionado entre c~ 1~-c~ 20~-alquila e fenila; r^ 6^, r^ 7^, r^ 8^, r^ 9^, r^ 10^ e r^ 11^ são idênticos ou diferentes e são selecionados entre hidrogênio e - c~ 1~ -c~ 10~-alquila; x é um número inteiro de 0 até 12; y é selecionado entre 0 ou 1, sendo que, na eventualidade de y ser igual a 1, x não é igual a 0 e k é um número inteiro na faixa de 0 a 3. os copolímeros podem ser completamente ou parcialmente neutralizados com álcali ou amônio. as indicações em% em peso são em relação ao copolímero total.

Abstract: Leather seasoning agent based on (meth)acrylic acid and acrylic acid/alkanol esters. A leather seasoning agent containing (wt.%): (a) dispersed copolymerisate A (20-60), (a1) at least one ester A1 of methacrylic acid with 1-8C alkanols (40-70), (a2) at least one ester A2 of acrylic acid with 1-8C alkanols (25-60), (a3) 3-6C alpha,beta-monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid A3 (0-3.5), and (a4) at least one further adjuvant monomer A4, e.g. hydroxypropyl acrylate, ureidomethacrylate, acrylamide, methacrylamide, N-methylol-acrylamide, N-methylol methacrylamide, where the sum of A1, A2, and optionally A3 and/or A4 = 100 wt.%; (b) at least 40 wt.% water (B); and (c) polyurethane leather seasoning agent C (0-40). Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for preparation of a leather seasoning agent by emulsion or stepwise polymerization of monomers A, A2, and optionally A3 and/or A4 to give an aqueous dispersion of copolymerisate A, and optionally mixing with polyurethane leather seasoning agent C; and (2) a leather with a seasoning agent or top coat of copolymerisate A from (a1) to (a4) as above.
