Abstract: A process for obtaining oligomers of polytetrahydrofuran or of tetrahydrofuran copolymers from a methanolic crude product which contains polytetrahydrofuran or tetrahydrofuran copolymers and is obtained in the transesterification of the mono- and/or diesters of polytetrahydrofuran or tetrahydrofuran copolymers with methanol, which includes a) removing the majority of the methanol from the crude product in a first distillation stage, b) separating the resulting bottom product by distillation into a top fraction containing the oligomers of polytetrahydrofuran or of tetrahydrofuran copolymers, and polytetrahydrofuran or tetrahydrofuran copolymer, and c) condensing the oligomers of polytetrahydrofuran or of tetrahydrofuran copolymers out of the top fraction from stage b).

Abstract: Procedimiento para la obtención de oligómeros de politetrahidrofurano o de copolímeros de tetrahidrofurano a partir de un producto crudo metanólico que contiene copolímeros de politetrahidrofurano o copolímeros de tetrahidrofurano, formado en el transesterificado de mono- y/o diésteres de politetrahidrofurano o copolímeros de tetrahidrofurano con metanol, caracterizado porque a) a partir del producto crudo, en una primera etapa de destilación se separa la cantidad principal de metanol, y en caso dado se devuelve al transesterificado, b) el producto de cola obtenido se separa mediante destilación en una fracción de cabeza que contiene los oligómeros de politetrahidrofurano o de copolímeros de tetrahidrofurano, y politetrahidrofurano o copolímero de tetrahidrofurano, c) a partir de la fracción de cabeza de la etapa b) se condensan los oligómeros de politetrahidrofurano o los copolímeros de tetrahidrofurano.
